We fell in-love when we came across this little New York coffee shop situated on Madison Avenue and 42nd St. The design of this coffee shop was inspired by the New York Public Library which is close by. This coffee shop was designed by the design firm 'Nemaworkshop' who wanted to create a sanctuary that enclosed customers in a world of books. If you are huge fans of the Nemaworshop designs, like us, you will know that they always add that extra edge to their designs which is what makes them so unique and that is why they decided to turn the whole design on it's side. The bookshelves are instead the floor, the herringbone-pattered oak flooring is now the wall and behind the counter, the light that would come through roof instead comes through the horizontal wall behind the counter. Honestly, this is one of our favourite designs, it's so unique and captivating!
